"Encounters and Choices"

Through out the history of humanity, Aesculapion-Bergama has been a unique place where science meets nature, nature meets human and human meets others. It has been both the host and the witness of these reciprocal interactions. Due to its unique situation, International Congress of Group Psychotherapies has been held at Aesculapion-Bergama for years. In the Congresses of Group Psychotherapies, topics around "the individual" trying to understand, change, develop and treat one's self in the context of surrounding relational networks and the "individual-group" interaction are being covered, considering the individual's "choices" related to his life, to the group he belongs, his country and the world, along with his "encounters" and separations.

We wish that the XXXIII. International Congress of Group Psychotherapies, once again in Aesculapion, will direct us to novel encounters, testimonies, awarenesses and choices in the illumination of scientific guidance.
